Terms of Use

Last updated 8 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us for the TicTacToe mobile app and this website. By installing the app, signing in, or playing the game on this site, you accept them.

1. Who these terms are with

The TicTacToe app and the website at tictactoe.wrteam.in are operated by WRTeam (“we”, “us”). “You” means the person using them. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app or the site.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age that applies where you live, to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use the app only with your parent or guardian’s consent, and they accept these terms on your behalf.

TicTacToe is also licensed as a source-code product to other developers. Those licences are governed by the marketplace licence you bought them under, not by this document. These terms govern playing the game, not building on it.

2. Licence to use the app and the site

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use one copy of the app on devices you own or control, and to use this website, for your own non-commercial entertainment. That is all the licence covers.

You may not:

We and our licensors keep all intellectual property rights in the app, the site and everything in them. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything to you.

3. Accounts and guest sessions

Online play needs an account. You can create one with Google, Apple, or an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done through your account; tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. You must give accurate information, and you may not create an account for someone else, or hold more than one account in order to gain an advantage in matches or on the leaderboard.

A guest session lets you play without signing in. It is tied to that single installation and is not a backup: if you delete the app, switch devices, or clear the app’s data, the guest profile and everything attached to it — coins included — is gone and cannot be recovered. Link a real sign-in method before you buy anything.

Your display name and profile picture are shown to other players. Do not choose a name or image that is obscene, hateful, harassing, impersonates another person, or infringes someone else’s rights. We may change or remove either without notice if it breaks this rule.

4. Coins and the in-game economy

Coins are a virtual item that exists only inside the game, for the purpose of playing it. This matters, so it is worth being plain about:

5. Staked matches and fair play

Online matches are played for a coin stake that both players put up; the winner takes the pot, and a drawn match returns each player’s stake. A stake is committed when the match starts. Staking coins you already hold is part of the game, not gambling: no real money is wagered, nothing of monetary value can be won, and a prize cannot be cashed out.

If a match cannot be completed — you lose your connection, the app is closed, or the turn clock expires — the result is settled by the rules the app applies at the time, which may award the round or the match to your opponent. Keep a stable connection before you commit a large stake.

You may not interfere with fair play. In particular, you may not:

We use automated integrity checks and server-side rules to enforce this. If we find that coins, skins or a leaderboard position were obtained in breach of these rules, we may reverse the transactions, reset the balance or score, withhold rewards, suspend the account, or terminate it permanently — and we may do so without refund.

6. Purchases and refunds

Coin packs are sold as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Those stores take the payment, act as the merchant of record, and apply their own terms, taxes and prices. We never see your payment details.

Refunds are handled by the store, not by us. Because a purchase is delivered to your account as soon as it completes, we do not operate a separate refund scheme, and we cannot reverse a store charge. To request a refund, use Apple’s “Report a Problem” process or Google Play’s refund request process, subject to their windows and conditions. Nothing here limits any refund or cancellation right that consumer law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

If a purchase is taken but the coins are not credited, contact us with the store receipt and we will credit them or help you get the charge reversed. If a purchase is later refunded, charged back or found to be fraudulent, we may remove the corresponding coins and anything bought with them, and your balance may go to zero.

7. Advertising

The app is free to install and is funded by advertising. It shows banner, interstitial and rewarded ads supplied by Google AdMob and Unity Ads. Rewarded ads are optional: you watch one only when you choose to, in exchange for coins. Other ad formats are part of the free app and cannot be switched off.

Ads are chosen and served by those ad networks, not by us. We do not endorse any advertised product, and we are not responsible for advertisers’ content, offers or websites. What an ad network collects is described in our Privacy Policy. If a rewarded ad fails to load or does not finish playing, no coins are credited, and we cannot guarantee that an ad is available to show at any given moment.

8. Acceptable use

Play the game as the game. Beyond the fair-play rules above, you may not harass, threaten or abuse other players; use the app for anything unlawful; attempt to disrupt the service for others; scrape or bulk-collect other players’ data from the leaderboard or matchmaking; or use the app or the site in any way that breaks the law where you are.

The app includes third-party mini games loaded in an in-app browser and links to external sites. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it.

9. Availability and changes to the service

The app depends on third-party infrastructure, and online play depends on your connection. We do not promise that the app or the site will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features — including online multiplayer, the leaderboard or the coin economy — and we may stop operating the service entirely. If we discontinue the service, unused coins expire with it and no refund is due, except where consumer law requires one.

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above changes when we do, and significant changes will be notified in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop at any time: delete the app, or use the Delete Account action in its settings to remove your account and its data permanently. Doing so forfeits your coins, skins and leaderboard position.

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these terms — in particular the fair-play rules — or if we must do so to comply with the law or to protect other players. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Sections 2, 4, 6, 11, 12 and 13 survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

The app and the site are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that any defect will be fixed, that matchmaking will find an opponent, or that your data will never be lost.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, lost coins, lost leaderboard position, loss of goodwill, or the cost of substitute services, arising out of or relating to your use of the app or the site, however caused and on any theory of liability.

Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the app and the site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you actually paid us, or paid through the app stores for TicTacToe in-app purchases, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) ten US dollars (US$10).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or under non-waivable consumer protection law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them, the app or the site, are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gujarat, India for any such dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings in your local courts where that law gives you one.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter directly.

14. Apple and Google

These terms are between you and us, not with Apple or Google. Neither store is responsible for the app or its content, and neither has any obligation to provide support or maintenance for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo, and that you are not on any US Government restricted party list.

15. General

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the app and the site. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

16. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to WRTeam at wrteam.aayush@gmail.com, the contact listed in our Privacy Policy.
